The endless digressions about the evil of Apple were tiresome ten years ago. Yes, there is indeed a compelling case to be made that Apple is a force against rather than for software freedom. With that said, last I checked few if any people are compelled to purchase or use an Apple device. Reasonable people could decide they don’t want to buy Apple products, but then you’re done: you didn’t buy one! :)
