There are two interesting things that might change drastically in the tech business. The first is the subject of this article: a new technology, and it might be something like ChatGPT, is going to blow up the search/advertising industry. When I am not writing books or coding, much of my digital life is just my Apple Watch. Siri is not a bad interface for interacting with the watch but a more conversational model for searching for information and using watch functionality will take the whole experience to another level. The second thing that I expect to upset the entire tech industry is a global economic slowdown. People are good at prioritizing scant personal economic resources when pushed against a wall, and will avoid unnecessary expenses.
