The article compares the cost of gas cars to EV's charging at public chargers. While the article is about Germany in the Netherlands most people with an EV primarily charge at home or at the office with private chargers. Using their "own" way cheaper power. I find it weird the article doesn't take this into account.

  Charging at a public charger is only partly about energy prices. It's also about recouperating the investment (parking spaces), maintenance, back-office, etc.
