Huh?
> The market never solved
I mean do you buy products that are cleaner, better to their employees, blah blah...? Do most people, if the opportunity is there? If the opportunity is not there, why not?
Seems like you're going off into space here. Capitalism and private ownership of things and ideas is great. Sorry?
- Arainach 4y agoMost people do not. Not all options are available to everyone. If the local grocer stocks one brand of milk, that is what people buy. If I need medical assistance I'm not going to research which hospitals near me stock ethically sourced bandages before calling an ambulance. No one has time to do detailed research on every company they buy things from. I have no idea how Speedway gas treats its employees. I don't even know if their gas is better or worse than competitors. I do know that they're on the route between work and home. Most people don't have the resources to act on these decisions. Kroger is an awful company that treats its employees like trash, but that doesn't magically make everyone able to afford Whole Foods proces. This is assuming there are multiple stores in my market, or multiple stores equally accessible to transit users, etc.

Can you quote what you're replying to? > Not all options are available to everyone ??? > No one has time ??? > Most people don't have the resources You're off in space. Not sure what you're on about, and I'm sure you don't know either. You don't have the solutions to the world's problems, you don't even have your life together. A question for you: how long are a man's legs?
- Arainach 4y agoYour post had exactly three questions: >I mean do you buy products that are cleaner, better to their employees, blah blah...? Do most people, if the opportunity is there? If the opportunity is not there, why not? My reply addressed all three points. The first sentence (most people do not) was a direct response to your first two questions ("do most people?"). The rest of the post was an answer to your third. I no longer find this conversation productive, and this will be my final reply to you.
- __pache__ 4y agoYou didn't answer if you buy goods intelligently. So I'll assume no you don't buy good products, cool. You're surrounded by amazing advancements, only to spit in it's face: not good enough. LOL
