Facebook acquiring some startup is as relevant to the life of a heavy FB user as P&G acquiring a consumer goods company is to a heavy user of P&G products. Oh, it’s virtual reality. Who cares? If it ever becomes genuinely relevant it will show up in real life. If not reading about it is a waste of time. Remember, most people care about friends, family, work and things that come up relevant to those, and they mostly don’t care about work.
