I'm sad this was downvoted. I think it would make a more interesting discussion for unpopular opinions to be present and engaged with rather than downvoted into invisibility. I think you make a fair point, if you don't want to agree to the terms of a transaction, don't participate in the transaction with the intent of breaking the terms. This is the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing in any contract.
