I think you have it backwards in your last paragraph. Five years ago Elon Musk had a lot of goodwill and was highly thought of by lots of people. Through his actions as a boss and through his public statements he’s shown himself to be a jackass. There is a cadre of supporters who forgive or overlook the overwhelming evidence of his jackassery. Perhaps you should consider the possibility that you are among this cadre of supporters.
I don’t know who Brown is and it’s quite possible he/she too is a jackass but that doesn’t detract from the fact that Elon Musk is a shitty person.
- residualmind 4y agoyou might want to try to realize that my post was not directed at you but at people who think differently, or if not, at least try to respond to the points I'm making. if you don't know who Ian Brown is - who I'm talking about here - how can you have a qualified response to what i said?
- syzarian 4y agoEverybody just latches on to Musk, because they're not thinking neutrally, they hate him, for whatever amalgamation of reasons, assume he is a jackass and idiot - and then find their proof for it. I specifically said that I was responding to this paragraph. This paragraph appears to be a general statement that is not limited in scope to only be about Brown.
