I’d like to see a world where there just are always plugs available. As ubiquitous as ICE gas stations or even in the strip malls/outside grocery stores. Even more, every parking spot in an apartment complex. Have them be “smart” so people can program in when they need to be ready to go and otherwise offer just a trickle to stave off the worst of freezing temps. Etc. Done well, this could mitigate most or all of the growing pains away from ICE vehicles and infrastructure. Maybe provide a back support for the jobs dependent upon that legacy infrastructure too.
