Me and my partner both gave each other a boardgame, unbeknownst to us that the other was also doing so. And a sibling gave us a boardgame as well. We are in our 30's and have really never stopped playing boardgames with our friends. But I don't think there have been this many boardgame gifts underneath the tree since my childhood.
