This is a pretty dumb take, it’s like saying programming is easy, I can use chatgpt and bypass the whole computer science gatekeeping crap.
In reality art is about process and spending time just like software. Yes the art world is distorted/snobby and gatekeepimg but in the same sense the software world is like that too because of financial incentives. AI will disrupt everything momentarily after which we will go back and appreciate the craft behind various human endeavours
- solardev 4y agoYeah, the same can apply to software too! I would love to see the barrier to entry for all trades significantly drop, and snobbery decrease worldwide. Mostly I just hope that some better intelligence will put us in our place.
