For me, it is often just serendipity (The occasional nice similar video, HN comment...). Sometimes a "Best Channels for X" google search will yield an interesting curated list. Some analytics platforms like socialblade [1] offer simple lists by subscriber/video count. However, I haven’t see one with a detailed classification. I feel we need more "classic" directories to solve this issue. Blogs are a natural candidate [2]. why not a directory of quality video channels?
