- bruce511 4y agoSo basically for the non-metric measures, "where you are" matters. Because, hey, a Pint (ounce, gallon, pretty much whatever) abroad is pretty much not what it is back home. And don't get me started on miles / nautical miles. But at least now I know there are 36 Bushels to a Chaldron. If only I had a clue what a bushel is. Bet you don't know how many rods in a furlong?
