Yes, but how about the software other people want to use or need? Can we make their effort easier with our software and make a business out of it adding value to both? I think it is one area everyone needs to think about. You help your social circle, try to understand their problems and think about solutions they need to make their business successful, and if you are capable of delivering that, then great. Else you become a consultant. I believe this is how the businesses were built in the early days.
