There, the author's used techniques to recognize bots and make a connection between them. The methods used for classifying as a bot haven't been to complicated. It's just a problem to get the bot accounts active. Musk did that with that poll. Now, the fake accounts can be recognized and a mesh can be build. Next step is to shadow ban them. This will reduce the amount of bots. Having the amount of bots reduced, one is in better position to show that left accounts are real users. The advertisers will like it.
