First ‘Vagina-on-a-Chip’ Will Help Researchers Test Drugs
- dieselgate 4y agoWow what a fascinating article and general subject! I was not aware there was active research around organs-on-a-chip nor the considerations for a balanced vaginal microbiome. From my perspective it seems the Theranos debacle was a relatively large setback for x-on-chip type devices but surely that could change as technology/research understandings improve. Personalized medicine seems to be held as "the future" of health and at the least it's nice to see some examples of what this might look like. Presumably x-on-a-chip technologies enable greater diagnostic/testing capabilities in a minimally invasive way.
