Speed Queen washers are all tiny, though. Our current LG (a company I despise, but had the highest CR rating by far), is something like 5 cubic feet. The Speed Queens were all in the 3 cubic feet range. Depending on family size, amount of bedding, etc., something that small can be a real pain to deal with.

- Dan_- 4y agoNot true on the usefulness. Family of 5 here with a SQ front loader. It does everything we need, including cloth diapers, and any time we have needed to repair it, parts have been readily available from multiple suppliers.
- bombcar 4y agoMy experience has been that you can “load” the Queens a bit higher even if the space is a bit smaller. Then again I went with a top loaded to get the ability to soak without using the sink. Maybe someday I’ll go like a friend and have both front and top. :)
