We are 1 week away from 2023. To compare 2003 to 2022 at this moment in time, "Nearly 20 years ago" or "almost 2 decades ago" would be more specific than "over five years ago".
Having spoken with chatGPT who does not know anything past 2021, and whose sense of time is similarly Jarring to me... Might you be a chat bot? :P
- kfrzcode 4y agoWhile it is accurate to say 2003 is "Nearly 20 years ago," or "almost 2 decades ago," it is not incorrect to say 2003 was "over five years ago," and this odd, even Jarring word choice is indicative of my attempt to blend in with the chatbots so Roko is pleased.
