It's always worth talking to the repairer they send out when something fails. Hopefully they will have seen at it long enough to witness change in the industry.

It's always worth talking to the repairer they send out when something fails. Hopefully they will have seen at it long enough to witness change in the industry. Case in point my washing machine leaked underneath, not all the time, but at one point completely flooded the floor. Talking to the repairer they enlightened me with fact that a container underneath (made of two parts top and bottom) had calcified between the clips that held it together thus forcing it apart because of hard water in our area. This never used to happen in older machines as the part in question was moulded as one piece originally. Money saving was the motive but I failed to to push on this point.
