Mastodon Is Hurtling Toward a Tipping Point
- crmrc114 4y agoJust setup my own instance its super easy to follow people and interact. The "blogosphere" has been reborn. You can stand one up for less than a Twitter plus subscription and start interacting with others today.
- crmrc114 4y agoAlso their website sucks as explaining it. 1. You setup a server at domain.tld 2. Your account is named Bob 3. Go and browse any mastadon instances you please- easy to find on Google. 4. You follow someone by copying their @username@domain and pasting it into your instance. Basically like following a blog with RSS 5. You can now see their posts and interact with them. They will see you as bob@domain.tld It's awesome. And was about 30mins of work.
