I think they will get big competition from Apple which has an even bigger warchest to make this acquisition happen. Just before or after they (finally) acquired the Walt Disney Company. Not kidding, The Netflix originals and associated IP (Stranger Things anyone?) and the Disney productions together with the TV+ productions would be THE killer catalog to have for Apple. Especially if they want to become a serious competitor to the likes of HBO Max, SkyShowtime, Peacock and Paramount+
