I get that from vscode and pylance/mypy already. I get the same thing with vscode and sorbet for Ruby. Why would I go through all the trouble of using IntelliJ

I get that from vscode and pylance/mypy already. I get the same thing with vscode and sorbet for Ruby. Why would I go through all the trouble of using IntelliJ for that?

For everything listed in the "Working with source code" menu: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/working-with-source-code.html https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/working-with-source-c... (and others like https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/web-frameworks.html https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/web-frameworks.html) Some of it made its way into VS Code, but many things definitely didn't (because they require more than just LSP and reuire someone to write a bunch of analysis tools for the python integration).
