- pilom 15y agoWow those guys are cheap. My AWS free tier just ended for my play server and I think I know where I'm headed next.
- dholowiski 15y agoSeems too good to be true. Have you used them? That $19 a year plan is very interesting. [edit] I couldn't help it... On sale for $15, I bought. Seems like a great server to play around with stuff on.
- sumukh1 15y agoJust to be clear, the $19 a year plan is: VZ Abduction ~200 MB RAM, 19 GB DISK, 190 GB Bandwidth, 5 Mbps Uplink.
- da02 15y agoIt's $12 during their holiday sale: http://alienvps.com/vps-hosting-specials/ http://alienvps.com/vps-hosting-specials/ You can get regular sales info. at: http://www.lowendbox.com/?s=alienvps http://www.lowendbox.com/?s=alienvps Their support seems mixed judging from reviews. Here is one example: http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/537/alienvps-las-vegas-node-down http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/537/alienvps-las-vegas-... The VSwap might not be stable for production systems. I suggest asking to move you to a different node without vswap if it gives you trouble.
