IMO there is a missing middle level here : Between Information overload and (real) wisdom, there is synthesised knowledge. I don't believe AI will be "wise", But AI will definitely solve/assist synthesis, which is a big part of the issue discussed here. This of course does not solve any of the underlying causes (incentives structure..) or the "real" wisdom scarcity itself. How do you solve these in a society where quantity reigns supreme? You can't.
