Four years ago, I launched my sci-fi anthology podcast The Program right here on Hacker News. Since then The Program received half a million downloads and achieved a few other notable milestones. I share these in a series of annual reports, the latest of which was released today. My goal with these articles is to share my journey in hope it helps those on a similar path. Because of this, I am more transparent than I've noticed is the norm... And definitely more brutal about the downsides! But I think that's precisely what gives it value.
