I use only my web browser to access Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, etc. just as I do with HN. For a start, I don't trust that the client apps aren't running all sorts of dodgy code on my phone. But more importantly, it's habit-breaking. No distracting notifications, and I browse in permanent incognito so am forced to manually log in each time. The apps just exist to increase the addiction. Uninstall them and get your life back.
