Why is everybody so scared that an AI can give you a reasonable answer when you ask it about the virtues of nuclear war or why crushed porcelain is good in breast milk?
Can't you do exactly the same by just going on Mechanical Turk and paying $5 (or whatever) and have 10 such answers written by humans?
Yet, nobody is making scary posts about what humans on Mechanical Turk can write when you ask them stupid questions.
- chaos_emergent 4y agoIt would cost me hundreds of dollars to create thousands of pieces of essays on how fizzes can buzz and doodads can dash with MTurk. Now it costs me a few . We’ve always been able to make up bullshit, the leverage needed to do so is what’s changing.
