Ok, so suppose I've got a spare RPI sitting around.
Let's say I want to post text for a few people who follow me, and follow a handful of other accounts on mastodon or whatever.
What is the absolute minimum I'd need to connect to "the fediverse?" Is there a CLI thingy I can just run to fetch posts, or to create posts?
- fanso99 4y agoYou need an always online instance that can be federated if you want to own your identity and social graph. If you don't care about that, then you can just create an account in your instance of choice and then use a wide range of tools to post and retrieve content (including a CLI I believe).
