As the moderator correctly identified, I was snarky in a comment yesterday, and I should not have written that. I wrote a parodic article in a somewhat dry Associated Press single page format, but it wasn't AI-generated. My comment was in a robotic tone, to play the part as if I had been taken over by AI, but I erred by writing it in haste. I had thought of copying the logo of FSF and Linux to create a page that appeared to be an official press release, so that it would be higher effort, but didn't. I don't think AI could generate what I wrote:
"Linux and FSF announce Linux Light, a kernel optimized for light-powered OSes

The Linux Foundation announced Monday a modified Linux 6.0 kernel is in a development phase for lightweight embedded systems, offering modern security in a lighter footprint. Since Linux's rise in popularity, the kernel has increased in size. Linux Light is aiming to address this heft with kernel modules that can be loaded after bootup, from the cloud, or, space permitting, from local storage. Asked why this option hasn't been pursued previously for mainline versions, a spokesperson for the Linux Foundation said, "Rust was a major shakeup to the Linux kernel. We started receiving requests for a lot more unusual changes than we had imagined." Linux Light is not expected to see the light of day until version 7 of the Linux kernel. "If you turn the 7 upside down, and flip it horizontally 180 degrees on the Y-axis, you get a jerry-rigged "L," which stands for Light," the spokesperson said. While the Linux Foundation preferred to adopt a shorter name, such as "Linux Lite", it was already taken. But "Linux Light" also addresses new ways to power our operating system, which for decades, has depended primarily on fossil fuels. Efforts to reach the kernel's founder, Linus Torvalds, for comment, were unsuccessful."
I won't repost the snarky comment. Thanks for the comments.
