People are so empty on the inside that they choose to drink, snort, smoke and inject poison in their veins just to numb and erase their own self.
I've always been very progressive and I grew up in a culture where drugs and alcohol were always "cool". I was never stupid enough to partake in the hard stuff but I drank and smoked enough weed for 10 lifetimes.
There is nothing cool about drugs, nothing. If you need drugs it's because you are lacking something inside you or you have many many demons.
Wholesome people don't do drugs. Took me 1/4 of a life to figure this one out.
- stouset 4y agoThis is… one perspective. I personally think it's pretty judgmental and don't think it's a particularly insightful one. Wholesome people have all sorts of lifestyles and habits. Even ones you disagree with. Wholesome people drink, and alcohol is certainly a drug. I have known many, many wholesome people who drink and do drugs—generally in moderation—and it doesn't have to negatively impact other aspects of their life. Most people are like this. But there are also wholesome people who go through difficult periods of their life and choose to self-medicate. Maybe you believe that act isn't wholesome, but it doesn't by itself need to invalidate your entire evaluation of a person.
