The surprising news here is that 14 Bored Apes are still worth a million dollars to someone, even in the aftermatch of the wider crypto crash.
- tgv 4y agoIt's cult/echo chamber/sub-culture in action. There are more groups of people, some probably quite large, which have a different mind set, and are not swayed by whatever the rest of the world says. People get attached to certain ideas in politics, in religion, and of course in finance, and stick to it; their social environment reaffirms them, and they reaffirm their environment. No matter whether it is ideological, or based on hope or drug-induced hallucinations, group think is real. I'm not saying the rest of the world knows better, or is even right in this case, just that diverging opinions exist in parallel groups.
