How exactly are they entangling the 2 qubits at room temperature? And how are they doing quantum error correcting? If I were to guess, I think they are lazily slapping on "quantum computing" to some system where QM is used to describe the properties of the system.
- nighmi 4y agoThat is also my suspicion although Im not knowledgeable about the technical issues, economically and impactwise this seems insane and completely out of left field. I thought IBM or such were experimenting on 8qubit machines costing hundreds of millions. On the other handz I think there was also a cloud offer to use one for free, like wn old university computer, getting 5 seconds of compute.
