I got railroaded into becoming a salesperson, and at 24 decided I wanted to become a dev, I worked on some side projects and never gave up the passion. It might've taken me 10 years since then, but I've landed a senior SWE role. How I would advise, is to focus on a small subset of things you like, with people/friends you like, be it music, cycling, whatever. Focus on what you love, and as cliche as it is, something good will come out of it.
