I consider myself an audiophile and I'm really interested in the better mastering, but I'm driven crazy by the static, clicks, crackles and pops of records. Sometimes I download digital conversions of records but I never end up listening to them because I get too annoyed by any static. So I just try to find the best digital copy that I can actually enjoy, even if the brickwalling pisses me off.
