Ask HN: Why hasn't Substack or Medium pivoted to becoming Twitter 2.0?
- PaulHoule 4y agoBoth of those businesses have better business models already. For an author like Bari Weiss, the Substack model is so profitable that she started her own Substack clone. Medium users already pay for a $5 a month subscription.
- smt88 4y agoWhy would anyone want to be Twitter? Everyone hates the company and it's never been reliably profitable.
