While that sounds cool, such blatant non-neutrality from search engines sounds almost as scary to me as what they're protesting.
- Joakal 15y agoThe alternative is the bill making such companies non-neutral, for copyright industry interests.
- redthrowaway 15y agoAgreed. "Free speech (so long as we agree with it)" is exactly what we're opposing, here.
- kevinh 15y agoWhat we're (or at least I) am opposing is government regulation of free speech. Corporations are allowed to regulate speech on sites that they own.
- redthrowaway 15y agoFair enough. We can at least agree, I hope, that tactically it would be a poor choice.
