  Because you're used to universities paying crap wages while the upper admin takes home the big bucks? Because you're used to viewing universities through the lens of profit-generation rather than education? Because you're used to administration using unfair labor practices while playing off students against staff? No, I guess you're right - those are considered pretty common these days.
