I find J quite interesting, in fact I'm trying (and succeeding up until day 15) to solve Advent of Code in it. This with having no real experience in this language apart from trying to learn it some years ago. There are plenty of lessons to be learned from languages that are not "the norm". Having more ways to think about the problems helps.
