That's hilarious -- I didn't even realize Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul were AMC shows, since AMC+ isn't advertising them on their own streaming site (presumably because they sold the streaming rights away?)
But yeah, exhibit A in "don't execute poorly" -- maybe don't give away your most popular show to your biggest streaming competitor.
- theklr 4y agoAMC didn’t own the shows. They were both Lionsgate and Sony Pictures respectively. They overcorrected with TWD and haven’t marketed a single show since effectively.
- MomoXenosaga 4y agoYeah here in my country Breaking Bad was always a Netflix show. Which also explains why Netflix still has the international market. They have years of mind share.
