It's felt like it was just a matter of time before this happened for years now. I wonder if they (Occulus Founders) quietly regret selling to Meta or they are happy to take the money and beat them at their own game. Sad that the most viable commercial VR set is locked behind Meta now.
- legerdemain 4y agoFWIW, Palmer Luckey still works at Anduril, building VR-controlled gun turrets or whatever for policing the border with a bunch of senior ex-Palantir employees.
