Emacs has had an ahead of time compilation feature, "Native Compilation," since Emacs 28. Is this what you mean? Or is the Emacs 30 feature something different?
- yaantc 4y agoEmacs 28 has just in time compilation: the compilation happens lazily as a package is loaded. Ahead of time would means at installation time I guess.
