My son came to me the other day asking about some properties of material question for his engineering BTEC, it just happened the night before I had been playing around with chatGPT for ffmpeg commands and stable diffusion prompts. I told him about it and he got right on it. It answered the question for him with plenty of extra info he had not considered. He tried to add it as a reference ,the instructor said it was not allowed. However the instructor who had never heard of chatGPT was so impressed he started using it on all the questions to see how good it is. Also so he can detect others using it. It’s a game changer and a really great tool. If it helps people learn then surely that must be a positive.
