I have a hand-me-down Atem Mini that "survived" many, many productions, and honestly I wouldn't recommend it - the internal fan noise is getting worse, and I wouldn't want it next to my setup. I haven't tried it with a computer but I think mouse-to-screen latency would be a limiting factor.
