Assuming the container is some percentage of the viewport you can use viewport units. Otherwise no you need JS sadly. Or a SVG.

- prox 4y agoI can’t believe it’s 2022, we getting closer to fusion power, but we still need JS for something like this. Crazy! Hopefully the spirit of future christmas shows the w3c how to do this :)
