Show HN: View Reddit Images by Topic
Hi, I created a simple website to display Reddit images from set of subreddits by topic. It displays images from current top posts.
- samstave 4y agoJust FYI, you can put in the subreddit at the end of imgur and it will show you all images from that subreddit: https://imgur.com/t/pics https://imgur.com/t/pics (you can type /r/pics, but imgur changes it to /t/pics) https://imgur.com/t/politics https://imgur.com/t/politics - for example --- But I like your thinking of pulling from multiple subs based on topic a lot.
- akjeet 4y agoHey, I am glad you liked the grouping. Thanks for pointing the imgur link. I wasn't aware of it but it looks really interesting.
- samstave 4y agoIdea: Imgur requires a title/description for posts- Use imgur, select the subs you want to pull imgaes from, and search the description/title for the TOPIC keyword you are looking for... then display those, with a a hover that shows the subreddit the image came from.
