One quibble, in 2002 people weren't texting like mad on their bright white 4+ inch smartphone displays.

- lloeki 15y agoNot so bright, and not so big-ass screen. We're actually using those screens as flashlights nowadays. Flashlights.
- weeksie 15y agoNot in the US they weren't, at least not _nearly_ as much as they are now. But I don't think texting is nearly as much as a problem as the outsized ticket price increases for 3d films
