Show HN: Outer Space Shack, a realistic space base building game
- mdaniel 4y agoYour page is 404, and I find linking to indiegogo from a Show HN suspicious: > Show HN is for something you've made that other people can play with. HN users can try it out, give you feedback, and ask questions in the thread. > On topic: things people can run on their computers or hold in their hands. For hardware, you can post a video or detailed article. For books, a sample chapter is ok. > Off topic: blog posts, sign-up pages, newsletters, lists, and other reading material. Those can't be tried out, so can't be Show HNs. Make a regular submission instead.
- trynewideas 4y agoProbably this part: "From December 18th 2022, all backers will get access to the alpha test of the game."
- mdaniel 4y agoWere you logged in to indiegogo or something? When I navigate to the page linked by the submission, it says > Where did it go? > The page you are looking for is no longer available or has been moved. Anyway, "all backers" still seems like a stretch for a Show HN to me, but I wish the project all the best
- trynewideas 4y agoI googled it. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/outer-space-shack#/ https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/outer-space-shack#/ vs. /campaigns/ in the submission.
