Seems like a pretty big blow to freedom of speech seeing as this seems to have nothing to do with real time location data.
- uejfiweun 4y agoEh, it's not exactly as if Taylor Lorenz was a shining paragon of free speech. In fact, I think one could make the argument that her banning increases the freedom of speech on Twitter, given her well documented history of doxxing, making false accusations, and cancelling those she politically disagrees with.
- someNameIG 4y agoTbh I have no idea who she is, but I can't see banning a journalist, which appears to be only due to some investigation into Musk, is good for free speech.

So it seems that her history of doxxing other accounts has finally caught up with her and the ToS has now been enforced on her account on Twitter, resulting in a ban. It's only a 7 day ban, so it is not the end of the world.
