I've been hearing sketchy things about tether for years now. At least now Coinbase has USDC and I do trust Coinbase. But yea I think he really hit home when he pointed out how the CEO was saying "trust us, the money is there." If he really wanted to be taken seriously on that claim he'd find some way of demonstrating that beyond taking his word for it.
