What a refreshing read. By using the familiar “explaining jokes is human” trope, you completely debunked ChatGPT’s “human-like” capabilities! I expected it would have fared much better (like it does on other topics and situations) but this was a total flop.

Not so total. I actually know humans that have about the same level of understanding of humor.
