Are you under the impression that the FBI was acting on behalf of Trump during his presidency?
- Apocryphon 4y agoHe was the commander in chief. Who do you believe the FBI is acting on behalf of if not his handpicked successor to Comey?
- kodyo 4y agoThe FBI acts on behalf of the state, and the FBI. Trump picked an FBI guy to run the FBI. I don't know why he did it, either.
- Apocryphon 4y agoMaybe the FBI director was under orders from the president to prevent opposition hacks from spreading misinformation about the date of the election, thereby costing him the election. Wait, are you saying this was all to ensure Trump wins? Are you saying this is proof of a Watergate type situation?!?
- hackinthebochs 4y agoThe FBI certainly wasn't acting on behalf of Obama when they sat on the revelation of Hilary's emails found on Huma Abedin's laptop to manufacture an October surprise. The fact that folks like Giuliani knew about it before it was made public goes to show that the FBI isn't a unified organization all moving in the same direction.
- Apocryphon 4y agoMaybe Obama wanted revenge on Hillary’s use of dirty tricks against him during the 2008 primaries. https://spectator.org/64130_obama-accused-hillary-labeling-him-muslim/ https://spectator.org/64130_obama-accused-hillary-labeling-h...
- _kbh_ 4y agoI am talking about this tweet specifically. https://twitter.com/mtaibbi/status/1598828932395978752 https://twitter.com/mtaibbi/status/1598828932395978752 That mentions that both parties had access to the tools at the time, and both had requests honoured. But only party was in power at the time, and that was the Trump administration.
